From Factory to Site: Complete Installation Process of Prefabricated Steel House

Understanding the installation sequence helps clients prepare the site, book the right equipment and avoid the delays that come from missing information or access problems.

Before dispatch

The factory completes a pre-delivery inspection and packs components by assembly stage. The client receives a packing list, installation drawings, foundation details and a site readiness checklist.

Site readiness includes a level base, marked grid lines, crane access, water and power, secure storage and a local crew briefed on the drawings.

Foundation and first fix

Depending on the system, the house sits on screw piles, a concrete raft, strip footings or a steel base frame. The foundation must be level within tolerance and positioned exactly to the grid.

Anchor bolts and service sleeves are set before the structure arrives. Getting this stage right is the single biggest factor in a smooth installation.

Assembly

The frame or modules are lifted into position, checked for plumb and alignment, then bolted or welded according to the drawing. Bracing is installed immediately to keep the structure stable.

Wall panels, roof panels, windows, doors and flashings follow. Seals and membranes are inspected before the building is closed.

Completion

Electrical and plumbing are connected, fixtures are commissioned and the building is cleaned. A final walkthrough confirms that doors, windows, drainage and finishes operate correctly before handover.
